Happy New Year, but Man is it Cold in Florida!

For Florida standards, it was cold today. 38 degrees and windy, but thanks to Sky Q no rain. 7 HIM posted for a beatdown in the cold, windy gloom. Few fartsackers stayed back, but they sure will be back out soon. It is New Year after all and it’s time for those New Year resolutions!

Men bundled up today with plenty of sweaters and hats. YHC wanted to make sure that everyone stays warm through the beatdown, so we were on the move as much as possible.

Mosey to Roundabout – All IC unless marked as OYO.

Indian Run to Sunlake Blvd and then turn around towards the Dead End street. During the run, some side to side, little backward running, another side to side, bend over and swipe towards ground alternating hands.

At the Dead End Street, spread out. It’s time to…


C-rab Cakes, L-unges, I-mp Walkers, M-ountain Climbers, B-urpees. Between the rounds all PAX on their six for flutter kicks.

Indian Run to Parking Lot. Whenever we had to wait on six, we would do SSH to stay warm.

Time to Indian Bear Crawl. All PAX in plank next to each other side by side. Last PAX bear crawl to the front of the line while rest PAX doing Merkins. Rinse repeat with all PAX for few rounds. Changed it up with some planking with one arm, elbows and regular in between the Merkins.

Next up grab a piece of the curb. Time to work those calves.  All OYO x20.

Getting ready to wrap things up with Walking Lunges with Squats. All PAX line up and lunge/squat across couple parking spaces. Do the same on return to starting point. Feel the burn!
