Double digits upon us as 10 PAX posted on a gloriously cool and breezy morning here at The Ranch!  YHC pre-blasted many false promises the night before and the PAX knew what to expect…alot of Mosey, Burpees, Pain and Surprises up for grabs.  Disclaimer given and we were off…

WARMUP

  • CIRCLE BURP  –  High knees and Burpees every 8 sec  –  X20
  • Mosey around dog park and Sunlake round-a-bout (SURPRISE! we did not circle up) around and back to the courts
  • ROASTED PIG  –  X10 Merkins per roll  –  OYO
  • Mosey past tennis courts to dead end (SURPRISE!  The Beast was waiting for us there!  Oh and a few of his coupon buddies as well!)
  • Circled up around The Beast for MORNING CALL  –  X5 per PAX
  • Partner up for suicide block sprint relays  –  Each partner holds plank while other carries block to the end and leaves it.  Upon their return the second partner sprints and retrieves it.  –  X3 total rounds.  Grouper and No-See-Um on their game today pushing the pace as usual.
  • COUPON 11’s  –  SQUATS/BIG BOY SITUPS  –  Each PAX must carry coupon down and perform exercises with it at least 3 times.
  • Mosey back to courts

SURVIVAL BEAR TRAINING

  • According to experts you must be smart and strong in order to survive a bear attack so YHC decided to focus on the strong part.  What better way to make you stronger than 100 BURPEES.  Also a good way to get in some practice for the upcoming 100 BURPEE CHALLENGE being announced for March 2020.
  • 1 MINUTE EMOMs  –  X10 BURPEES  –  X10 ROUNDS
  • We threw in some 12’s early for various reasons and saved a few 8’s for the end but everyone finished their 100 total in under 10 min.  Vanellope always seeming eager to do more burpees and be the first one finished each round!
  • Grab a quick sip and mosey to FOP for some injured bear drills as follows:
  • BOO BOO BEAR CRAWL LEFT LEG –  X15 yds
  • BOO BOO BEAR CRAWL RIGHT LEG  –  X15 yds
  • INJURED BEAR BODY DRAG  –  X15 yds
  • Sprint to pavillion when complete.
  • Baiter took the honors on this set dragging his body with the force of an angry bear.

ALMOST THERE

  • DIPS  –  X20  –  OYO
  • STEP UPS  –  X20  –  OYO
  • RINSE AND REPEAT 2 ROUNDS
  • BALLS TO WALL  –  10 COUNT PER PAX
  • WALL SITS  –  10 COUNT PER PAX
  • No-See-Um has apparently been taking a speed counting class as of recent and DBA was taking his good old time making these exercises hilarious and painful at the same time.

  • Prayers for Grouper and Baiter’s family as they attend the funeral this morning
  • Prayers for all those families struggling with illness or injury
  • Thankful for our health to continue to endure this punishment on a regular basis

MOLESKIN
