Beautiful morning at The District with temps in the mid 60s. 5:30AM hit, and 4 PAX  were ready to get to work. Starting with a mosey, YHC gave the disclaimer as we strolled.

As we turned the corner by the restrooms, Chowdah came speeding in, hopped out of the car while it was still moving, and fell right in line.

Apnea joined us right at 5:30AM AST, making it a nice half dozen ready to make up for the lack of mosey at Tuesday’s BD.

Circle up at grassy oval by the playgrounds.

Mosey to lake trail

Indian Run w/ a burpee in the back about a half mile to the NW roundabout

Mosey back the to the lake trail – Each time YHC gave the command, PAX do a set of:

5 squats, 5 split jacks (HW), 5 monkey humpers

5 sets over the half mile mosey back to the lake trail.

Indian run along the lake trail, then mosey from the end of the lake trail to the bleachers.

On the bleachers:

Step ups x 10 (HW)

Dips x 10

Box jumps x 10

YHC wanted to try some new obstacles at the district, one being the bleachers. Quickly realized the step ups on the first bleacher were a little low, making them way too easy for the hardened men at F3 Nature Coast. There is also a slip hazard for the box jumps. For these reasons, we kept it to 1 set and moseyed on.

Mosey across the soccer fields for a quick sip, then line up along the restroom wall.

Wall sit – each PAX count to 10

Balls to the wall

  • Shoulder taps x 10 IC
  • Side slaps x 10 IC

Wall sit – each PAX count to 10

Circle up in the swamp for a couple rounds of circle burp – approx 10

Back out by the restrooms to finish with another round of Bruce Lees IC.

6:15am and all PAX seemed content with their healthy dose of mosey for the day.



YHC talked a little about how the easy choice or act is not usually the best choice. Making that first decision in the morning to get out of bed and get out to these BDs makes us all better. It makes us more comfortable making those uncomfortable and difficult decisions that make us great everyday.
