On a humid July morning, 12 PAX showed up for the DRP but with no Q in site. After a quick discussion, we leaned on our fourth principal for today’s BD. We would lead in a rotating fashion throughout the morning.
Hitchhiker:
YHC led a warm up of:
- 15 in cadence SSH
- 10 in cadence windmills
- 10 in cadence TTP
- 10 in cadence overhead clap
- 10 in cadence seal clap
We then went on a quick mosey to the roundabout toward Sunlake and did 10 in cadence merkins and 20 on your own oblique crunches, the hard way. After that, we moseyed to the other roundabout and did two burpees at every light pole. From there, the Q was handed over to Grouper.
Grouper:
From the dead-end, we did a quick mosey to the dead end where Grouper put together a nice 11 for us. Merkins on one side, squats on the other. Bear crawls out and duck walks back. Like playing Jumanji.
After that, Flat Tire stepped up for the Q.
Flat Tire:
Flat Tire split the PAX into two groups for some Indian runs. His trick was every time he finished his sprint, all PAX to stopped and moved up an escalator:
- 5 burpees
- 5 burpees, 10 squats
- 5 burpees, 10 squats, 15 SSH
- 5 burpees, 10 squats, 15 SSH, 20 flutter kicks (ew)
- 5 burpees, 10 squats, 15 SSH, 20 flutter kicks (ew), 25 leg raises
- 5 burpees, 10 squats, 15 SSH, 20 flutter kicks (ew), 25 leg raises, 30 merkins
After that, Flat Tire (more like flat tired, right?) handed it over the Q to Hooker who had complained and then did something about it.
Hooker:
YHC does not believe he can accurately put into words whatever happened during this time. There were light poles, lots of moseying back and forth and a DORA of mostly merkins and monkey humpers. I do believe some squats may have been done.
In essence, one PAX ran to the next light pole and back while the other did the Dora. Then they both ran to the next light pole. This was repeated several times until we were all on the basketball court doing squats till time.
