Burpee-Block blast

Pax gathered early @BoneYard on Saturday morning to keep up with the burpee challenge and support the first Q from floppy.
Started off with quick warmup mosey for 0.4 mile – kickoff with 5 burpees, break with 10 burpees and rest with 5 burpees till we reach where we started off.. Continued the warmup with:

  • 15 SSH
  • 10 baby circles back n front each
  • 10 pushups
  • 10 overhead press with block
  • 10 lunges easy way

repeat the mosey for another 0.4 mile with 5,10,5 burpees in the middle.

Workout:

partnered up to continue the burpee blast. Partner 1 would do the workout while partner 2 do 10 burpees and then switch until all 5 workouts are completed.

  1. 20 overhead press
  2. 20 squats with weight
  3. 50m run back n forth while holding the block
  4. 20 lunges with weight (easy way)
  5. 20 Russian swings

Being the very first Q, underestimated how long an hour would be.. and our Pax completed the all above in around 30 mins.
To cover the second half of the hour, Pax took off for a 1.1 mile block rucking challenge with various exercises in the middle:

  • Walk for 0.1 mile
  • stop1: 10 merkins, 10 squats with weight, 10 BBS
  • run for 0.1 mile
  • stop 2: 10 BBS, 10 squats with wt, 10 Merkins
  • walk for 0.1 miles
  • stop 3: 10 american swings, 10 overhead press
  • walk for 0.2 miles
  • stop 4: 10 dying cockroaches, 10 Crunches, 10 squats
  • walk for 0.2 miles
  • stop 5: 10 burpees
  • Walk for 0.2 miles
  • Stop 6: 10 burpees jumping over block
  • walk for 0.2 miles (run last few yards) to boneyard

One more min to go, crowd favorite- burpees again until we reach 7 am.. we ended up doing 110 burpees overall..
