5 Minute “Breaks”

YHC knows the 4 x 4 x 48 CSAUP event is coming up at end of March and will require some good mosey endurance, so that was on the menu for this morning’s workout. Four other HIM were up early on Saturday before family obligations kicked in to get in the work. I showed up with just a minute to spare with a prompt start at 6:00 a.m.

WARM-UP:
SSH x 10 IC
Frankenstein x 10 IC
Wind Mills x 10 IC
Willy Mays Hays x 10 IC
Plank hold then Merkins x 5 and Groiners x 5
Burpees x 10, recover.

Off we went on our mosey tour towards and down Bexley Village Drive. YHC kept a 5 minute timer on the watch as we would halt for some “breaks” along the way, then immediately continue the mosey.

1st Break; Burpees x 10 OYO, MCs for 1 minute, Flutter kicks x 20 hard, Merkins x 20, LBC x 20, Shoulder Taps x 20 hard, recover with another Burpees x 10 – mosey…

Returned back to the flag and YHC mistakenly thought we needed another 10 burpees so we did a Circle Burp for another round of ten for good measure. Ended with a minute of Al Gore pose “meditation”.  We almost made it all the way to the entrance of Amazon Warehouse, well over 3 miles round trip.
