Where’s the gate?

On a morning that was the very definition of gloomy, seven PAX met at The Ranch to get 100 burpees in and a great start to the morning.

Warmup:

All 10 in cadence:

  • Rotation squats
  • Arm swings
  • Plank leg tap outs
  • Boat reachesĀ 
  • Marching balls to the sky
  • 5 Burpees

A quick mosey around the dog park and to the playground

The Thang:

Morning wake up call:

  • Each PAX did 5 burpees to pull up
  • All other PAX did burpees to squats in kind

Mosey to the dock.

Next was a lap around the lake, going counter-clockwise. Follow the pattern of doing 12 burpees, mosey to the halt area and then repeating an exercise until the 6 counted out 10 reps (always the easy way).

Gate 1: Hand Release Merkins

Gate 2: Bonnie Blairs

Bridge: LBC

Gate 3: Derricks

Dock: Step-ups

Septum, who is very fast, had to be told where to go by general lights as you couldn’t see anything past 5 feet in front of you. Luckily the alligator wasn’t hungry.

After the 6 counted out 10 step ups, mosey back to the flag for a quick sip.

After that, the following was repeated until time:

  • 10 Hand Release Merkins
  • 10 Bonnie Blairs (ew)
  • 10 LBC
  • 10 Derricks (EW)
  • 10 Single leg calf raises (EW)
  • Lap around the dog park
  • Add 10 reps and repeat
