Quote of the Day: “I saw a big tire off Sunlake Blvd on the way here what’s that for?” ~Pass Interference~
9 Pax out on a glorious and cool morning to show gratitude for those who gave everything to make this country great and free. Props to the many Pax that showed up an hour early to complete “The Murph” prior to our rucking event. Shout out to Grouper for the audio playlist as well as Sloppy Joe and Haka for helping me get Bertha into position. The HIM gathered the flags and we were off to Sunlake Blvd to retrieve our fallen soldier “Big Bertha”. Today she would represent the lives lost in the line of duty and it would be our mission to get her home to her resting place (Sloppy Joe’s house) by any means…push, pull, flip, etc…PAX choice. Upon arrival at her final resting place we then headed back on the journey to our starting point. 50 min out and 40 min back with some pep in our step. Total distance approx 5 miles.
Grateful for all those who sacrificed everything for our country. May their families find peace in their absence and let us all never forget the price they paid for our freedom. Prayers for all Pax and their families that they celebrate safely today and be thankful for the loved ones we have by our sides. God Bless America!
