Just because Splash Mountain may be closing in the Magic Kingdom, it does not mean we can’t have our own version here in the Nature Coast!

Warmup

All IC:

  • 20 SSH
  • 10 Squat Rows
  • 10 Right elbow to left knee oblique crunches
  • 10 count static crunch
  • 10 Left elbow to right knee oblique crunches
  • 10 count static crunch
  • 10 count plank
  • 10 count back extension
  • 10 plank reaches
  • 10 back extension leg lifts
  • 10 alternating plank reaches/leg tap outs
  • 10 alternating back extension leg lifts/double scaption

Mosey to Brokeback Mountain, or for today, Splash Mountain. YHC showed up early to dump a gallon of water down the sandy hill.

The Thang

Three PAX, so each round lasted the rounds. The idea being one PAX went up the sandy hill while the other two PAX went up the traditional route. If the sandy hill PAX beat you, 10 burpees. If you beat him, you did 10 exercises with the sandy hill PAX that they picked.

The rounds:

  • Mosey
  • Bear crawl
  • Duck walk
  • Crab walk
  • Left leg squat shuffle
  • Right leg squat shuffle
  • Walk on your hands backwards mosey

After the fun on the hill, mosey toward the flag doing one exercise of the Bruce Lee at each light. Sprint to the flag. Alternate BBS/Hand-release Merkins until time.

Who knew you could have some much fun covered in dirt and sand?
