Hitting the “Jacked-pot” (a/k/a what happens at the Ranch stays at the Ranch)

QIC: Madoff
PAX POSTED: Airstream, Apnea, Belding, Chowdah, DBA, Hooker, Ikea, Madoff, Screech

The mission of F3 is to plant, grow and serve small workout groups for the invigoration of male leadership in the community….and of course to get jacked!

YHC answered the call while traveling back from being DR – we needed a substitute Q.  With little time to plan a beatdown, YHC took the lazy (but much more fun) approach and decided to let the beatdown plan itself.  Fresh off his previous Q at the Village, he still had the makeshift craps table, a pair of dice and a stack of cards handy…so 9 excited PAX (including one confused dealer/stickman/Q and one lucky Hooker) gathered in the gloom again at Madoff’s Casino, where no one ever wins any money (not even the House)!

Thanks to Lady Luck, no one ever knew what exercise was coming next…not even YHC!  His math was actually OK, but sometimes the terms “the players” and “the house” were used interchangeably and that probably led to some unnecessary exercises….oh well!  The PAX neither won or lost money, but kept moving, got a great beatdown, and hit the “jacked-pot”.

The Warmup:

15 SSH IC

10 windmills IC

10 hillbillies IC

10 forward baby arm circles IC

10 reverse baby arm circles IC

5 burpees for first late-arriving PAX.

The Thang:

Mosey to picnic tables

Several rounds of F3 Blackjack:

Each card in the stack had the name of an exercise written on it; the number value of each card represented the number of reps to be done for that exercise;  as in real casino blackjack, Jacks, Queens and Kings all have a number value of 10; Aces have a number value of either 1 or 11.

Rules were simple: each PAX took turn as the player; YHC dealt them 2 cards face-up, and dealt 2 cards to “The House” (1 face-down & 1 face-up).  Player was required to hit until the total hand dealt was at least 12, then chose whether to “hit” or “stay”.  Dealer must draw to at least 17 and then stay.

If player’s hand beat the House without busting, all PAX did each exercise for the number of reps shown on each card in the player’s hand.  If the House’s hand beat the player’s hand, all PAX did each exercise for the number of reps shown on each card in the House’s hand.

If the player busted, all PAX did each exercise for the number of reps shown on each card in the House’s hand, followed by a 21-yard bear crawl.

After each round, the next PAX in line became the player for the next hand to be dealt.

Several rounds of F3 Craps:

First roll: 2 or 12 loses; 7 wins

Anything else (3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10 or 11) becomes the point

On subsequent rolls, 2 or 12 is nothing and requires shooter to roll the bones again; 7 before the point loses; rolling the point again wins; any other number do 20 reps of that exercise

3=20 stepups (EW)

4=20 calf raises (EW)

5=20 squats

6=20 lunges (EW)

8=20 merkins

9=20 dips

10=20 shoulder taps (EW)

11=20 big boy situps

Loss= 10 burpees, then pass dice to next shooter

Win= 10 LBCs, then pass dice to next shooter

10 burpees for the last two late-arriving PAX.

Mosey back to flag.

COT:
