15 PAX came out on a beautiful Nature Coast Tuesday morning to get a good beat-down in and their 100 burpees done for the day. Given several PAX were back from Spring Break, a celebration of vacations was in order.
QIC: Hitchhiker
PAX: Waterboy, Vanilla Ice, Splinter, Smokey, Smoggy, Saint, No-See-Um, Miley, Hooker, Haka, Grouper, Big Papi, Baywatch, Apnea
Warmup:
After YHC flubbed through the 5 core principles (I’ll blame the allergy meds), a quick warmup:
- SSH
- Tappy-tap-tap
- Arm circles
- Side lunge
The PAX then went on a preview of things to come as they went on a mosey to the west roundabout or “island 1”, than to the east roundabout “island 2” and back to the flag. From there it was time for the main event.
Main Event:
Each PAX went on an island tour four times. Island 1, leg lifts were performed. Island 2 was the merkin. Back at home base, it was burpee time.
Lap 1: 10 of each exercise
Lap 2: 20 of each exercise
Lap 3: 30 of each exercise
Lap 4: (you guessed it) 40 of each exercise
Special shout-out to Big Papi who ignored any and all comments about time expiring to bust out his 100th burpee!
