YHC decided to continue the fun started on Monday during today’s beatdown. Five core principles, quick disclaimer, and straight to moseying to the roundabout for the Warmup

Since we didn’t finish the Red Barchetta on Monday, no time like the present

3rd workout of the 2020 Sasquatch

Starting at light post 1 all PAX ran to light post number 5, did 100 SSH, ran back to light post 1 and did another 100 SSH.

All PAX ran to light post number 4, did 75 Mountain Climbers (easy way), ran back to light post 1 and did another 75 mountain climbers.

All PAX ran to light post number 3, did 50 LBCs, ran back to light post 1 and did another 50 LBCs.

All PAX ran to light post number 2, did 25 Merkins, ran back to light post 1 and did another 25 Merkins.

All PAX ran to the sign between light post number 1 and 2, did 10 burpees, ran back to light post 1 and did another 10 burpees.

10 count wosey, then mosey back towards the courts with a stop at the playground for a quick Morning Call. All PAX circled up and got into the plank. First PAX goes to the bar and does 5 pull-ups calling out the count on each rep while all remaining PAX did 5 Merkins. Once PAX 1 was done joined the group in plank, while PAX 2 stepped and repeated. We did this until all 8 PAX completed the pull-ups. This wasn’t part of the Sasquatch but YHC felt like throwing in some pull-ups since we hadn’t done any recently.

Mosey to the parking lot for a modified second part of the 3rd Sasquatch beatdown:

Captain America (spinoff of Captain Thor)

1:4 ratio of burpees to lateral bunny hops (Jump side to side over parking lot lines)

Beatdown called for up to 10 burpees but in the interest of time, we went from 1 to 5.

1 burpee: 4 lateral bunny hops

2 burpees: 8 lateral bunny hops

3 burpees: 12 lateral bunny hops

4 burpees: 16 lateral bunny hops

5 burpees: 20 lateral bunny hops

Mosey over to the courts for the 4th beatdown. YHC split everyone into random pairs as they entered the court for the following

 

We completed the following exercises by flip flopping with the partner:

Jump Squats: 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1

Merkins: 20, 18, 16, 14, 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2

PAX 1 did 10 Jump Squats while PAX 2 did 20 Merkins

PAX 1 did 20 Merkins while PAX 2 did 10 Jump Squats

PAX 1 did 9 Jump Squats while PAX 2 did 18 Merkins

PAX 1 did 18 Merkins while PAX 2 did 9 Jump Squats

PAX 1 did 8 Jump Squats while PAX 2 did 16 Merkins

PAX 1 did 16 Merkins while PAX 2 did 8 Jump Squats

 

Continued this until both PAX did 1 Jump Squat and 2 Merkins each.

With under a minute to go, quick circle burp and high knees. We made it one round and then time expired.

Prayers for Dillio’s friend who is recovering from an ailment and may be able to complete treatment at home to be with his family.
