On a warm, but breezy, Saturday morning 20 PAX heard the call of the IronPax challenge week 0 challenge and came out for their DRP on a holiday weekend.
YHC mind when completely blank in how to do the in cadence thing after doing it for about 9 months. That was odd, but luckily for me, some PAX were happy to kindly remind me.
- 20 could static right lunge
- 20 could static left lunge
- 15 Michael Phelps
Given we stretched out our legs and chest, YHC thought that was plenty for what we were about to do.
This weeks challenge was:
- 100 Merkins (a.k.a. – Push-Ups)
- 800 meter Run
- 75 Merkins
- 1,200 meter Run
- 50 Merkins
- 1,600 meter Run
- 25 Merkins
- 2,000 meter Run
Shout out to Grouper (more like Just Did It) on his Week 0 championship! Putting up an impressive time of 37’17” to take it.
All PAX finished under an hour, which YHC had full confidence would be the case.
Two events on 9/11:
- Convergence with our friends in F3 Clearwater. Saturday BD at 7:00 AM. (Regular Saturday BD at The Boneyard will be held.)
- F2 Axe Throwing event with the M’s.
Q’s are needed throughout September, but especially for Saturday to run future IronPax events. The BD is given to you, so easy as the round of 25 merkins.
Prayers to Anchorman and his family. Prayers to all PAX being affected by COVID. Prayers to 2.0’s at school. Prayers to everyone between New Orleans and New York affected by the extreme weather events.
