Great morning at The District for a good sweatfest. After Monday’s IPC beatdown in the swamp, YHC planned to stay off the field at all costs. Plus, there may have still been some residual skin reactions to the OD of pesticides.

We started off with 5 PAX, including YHC. Disclaimer given and mosey on to the slightly less swampy grassy oval by the road.

Warm Up:

Windmill x 10 IC

Tappity Tap Taps x 10 IC

Seal Claps x 10 IC

Overhead Claps x 10 IC

SSH x 20 IC

At this point we seen a car arrive that we thought to be Apnea because he gave an HC the night before, but was anticipated to show up mid warm up. However, it turned out to be Chowda excited to join in. ..still no Apnea.

Following exercises completed while holding plank in between.

Mosey to Lake Path

Line up for Indian Run with Burpee in the back before sprinting to front. 2 rounds

This brought us to the Rangeland Blvd where we posted up in the grassy median for some 11s. This is where we found the good grass! Wonderfully soft, not too wet, just right.

11s starting with 10 Jump Squats, 50yrd mosey, 1 Leg Raise; 9 Jump Squats, 2 Leg Raises, etc until we reached 1 Jump Squat, 10 Leg Raises.

Flutter Kicks until the six was in.

Quick 10 count then headed East towards the round about.

It was planned to be a standard Indian Run, but Hooker begged for a burpee in the back.. so YHC had to oblige.

Indian Run with Burpee in the back for round 1, then 2 burpees in the back for round 2.

At the round about:

Bruce Lees with a mosey around the round about in between each exercise.

Quick 10 count then a mosey back to the flag.

On the mosey, YHC called out an exercise and all PAX were to do 5 reps.

A pit stop was made by the school so that some more fun could be had.

Continue mosey to the flag.. and at this point, with 5 minutes left in the beatdown, we found Apnea!! He looked a little winded from the miles he moseyed looking for us, but was eager to join in.

Quick sip and 2 rounds of sprints brought us to 6:15 on the button. Great work by all PAX pushing themselves and keeping the blood flowing this morning.
