How many miles are there in a Marathon? If 13 PAX, Grouper, Hitchhiker, Cheesehead, DBA, Focker, CZ, IKEA, Big Papi, Anchorman, Cricket, Rub n Tug, Chowdah, and FNG Mother Teresa didn’t know, they sure did by the end of the BD.
I’m sure many PAX would have fartsacked if they knew they were joining Tebow in his Marathon training. After a quick warm-up which included a demonstration of the BD exercises, PAX mosey’d over to the start line to begin the 26.2 F3-a-thon.
The course was 1 mile in length around the Boneyard with cones spaced out every 1/4 mile. At every cone, PAX had to do 26 of the exercise to represent how many miles in a Marathon, plus 2 burpees for that extra 0.2 miles. At the end of the mile course, PAX had to do 8 pull-ups.
The 1st mile: 1st cone Wide Arm Merkins, 2nd cone Diamond Merkins, 3rd cone Wide Arm Merkins, 4th cone Diamond Merkins
The 2nd mile: 1st cone Freddy Mercury’s, 2nd cone Leg Raises, 3rd cone Freddy Mercury’s, 4th cone Leg Raises
The 3rd mile: 1st cone Jiminy Crickets , 2nd cone left arm staggered Merkins , 3rd cone right arm staggered Merkins, 4th cone Jiminy Crickets
PAX ended with COT where we discussed the Holiday Party, 2.0 Christmas cards for veterans, and a reminder to cherish the time we have with the ones we love because time is fleeting.
After the COT, a few crazy PAX, IKEA, DBA and Cheesehead joined Tebow to complete the 4th mile: 1st cone left side little mermaid, 2nd cone X-Factor, 3rd cone right side little mermaid, 4th cone X-Factor.
