10 PAX joined you YHC to kickoff burpee month. What they didn’t know is 100 just didn’t feel like enough for a holiday that celebrates gluttony.
Warmup:
1 half lap around the field. Then 10 of each exercise in cadence:
- Tempo Squat
- Windmills
- Baby Arm Circles
- Reverse Arm Circles
- Tappity Tap Taps
Now that we were all warmed up, it was time for the main event.
100 Consecutive Burpees
Timmed of course. Good time had by all.
After a bit of a break, we had 30 minutes to kill. To give us something to do, YHC came up with the following.
The Thang 2
Six stations were set up, with a maximum of 2 PAX per station. Station one had coupons and would serve as the counter. Once the PAX finished 10 reps, everyone would rotate to the next station. After each PAX completed all six stations, a quick mosey across the field and back. The stations were:
- Blockees
- Burpees
- Kneel-to-Stand
- Dying Cockroach
- Plank Surrenders
- Rowers
We did three rounds of this, giving most PAX 160+ burpees. Joyeux!
Prologue:
With less than two minutes left, some pulse lunges were done. Not well instructed, listened too, or counted. Everyone had put in some work today.

3,000 more burpees to go! (At least!)
