Just run is the new thang

its pretty awesome weather on Saturday here at Boneyard and Dba wants to run 5 miles today.. so who am I to say NO to run.. so that’s the new thang- Just run with some minor exercises in the middle..

Started off with little stretching before took off to run around couple of blocks – 400m approx to come back to the boneyard.

warmup: SSH x 10IC, Little baby arm circles (front -10IC, reverse-10IC) and Abe Vigoda -10IC

pax quickly took off for an Indian run to the school premises..

The thang

3 rounds of workout and between every round, run to the other end of the road (approximately 200m)

Round1:

  • Merkins x 10
  • squats  x 10
  • Freddie Mercury x10
  • BBs x10

Round 2:

  • Diamond Merkins x10
  • Jump squats x10
  • Dying cockroaches x10
  • American Hammer x10

Round 3:

  • Werkins x10
  • Squats with 2secs break at bottom x10
  • Flutter Kicks x10
  • Crunches x10

complete 3 rounds with run and then do 10 burpees.
Run around the school front parking lot to return to the start position to repeat the thang.

After 3 full cycles of above workout, Pax waited for the six to run 2 laps around the school parking lot before heading back to boneyard in Indian run ..

So, we ran around 3 miles overall to leave DBA to run another 2 on his free time..

Pax touched on the two fellowship events coming up in next weeks and we did end up praying for all the Pax (and everyone else) to be Safe, Strong and Happy to begin the wonderful Saturday morning.
