YHC was glad to be feeling better after last week (non-covid just for full disclosure) to deliver a beatdown today and decided to share some of the treatment he used last week. Quick disclaimer and mosey to the dead-end roundabout.

THE THANG

Grab a line at the roundabout to do 3 burpees at each line with walking lunges in between (21 burpees total)

YHC is doing a 2,000 burpee challenge for the month of April so we moseyed over the start of Long Lake Ranch Blvd and YHC explained the details; 3 burpees at every light pole whether on the right, left, on or off.

Quick stop at Paspalum Street until the six was in. 10 lunges the hard way then back to it.

Quick stop at Zamia Loop until the six was in. 10 Squats IC and then back to it.

Next stop was the roundabout at the end of LLR blvd. Once the six was in we continued along the roundabout, crossing Serenoa Dr and making our way onto Nature View Dr. We almost missed a couple of light poles but the PAX made sure none were forgotten.

Rub N’ Tug’s camera even caught us knocking out our burpees which was a nice morning wake up for him.

Quick stop at beautyberry court for the six and did some SSH. Continuing along Nature View Drive with a stop at Deep Tracks Loop for a set of Bruce Lees until the six arrived. Thanks to Belding for telling me to straighten my legs on the flutter kicks.

Continued towards the main roundabout where we made sure to do knock out our burpees at the four light poles there. YHC gave Smoggy the choice of exercise until the six was in which was Big Boy Sit ups. Once the six was in, moseyed and burpee’d our way around the back side of the dog park and tennis courts before making our way back into the courts at 1 minute over.

Great job by all PAX today pushing themselves and each other to complete the beatdown. Shout out to Smoggy for pushing the pace today as he seemed to be one light ahead of everyone else. Shout out to Noodle for surviving another burpee beatdown by YHC as his first beatdown last month was very similar.

YHC drove back through the neighborhood this morning to count up all the light poles. If my counting is accurate then we completed 198 – 201 burpees (59 – 60 light poles) which includes the 21 burpees at the beginning of the beatdown plus 2 miles of mosey.
