The Beat Down or There and Back Again

On a beautiful Thursday morning, 22 HIM woke up and showed up for mosey heavy beatdown. A few disclaimers and off we went.

Warmup:

All in cadence:

  • 15 SSH
  • 10 Tempo Squats
  • 10 Windmills
  • 10 Frankensteins
  • 10 Tappity Tap Taps

A quick mosey around the tennis court and to the lake path between the dock and picnic table.

The Thang

Greeting the PAX was a white board and some, what YHC thought, was simple instructions. Someday maybe…..

The BD consisted of 10 rounds:

First, run to the 10th furthest group of trees on the left and back. Once back, do the following exercises:

  1. 10 Squats
  2. 10 Rowers
  3. 10 Merkins
  4. 10 Burpees
  5. 10 Oblique Crunches (hw)
  6. 10 Mountain Climbers (hw)
  7. 10 Leg lifts
  8. 10 Nolan Ryans (hw)
  9. 10 LBCs
  10. 10 Superman

After each round the PAX would remove one set of trees and the bottom exercise. (i.e. round 2 one would run to the 9th furthest group of trees and do the top 9 exercises and so on)

With about 4 minutes left, we returned to the courts, a few derricks, a few burpees and it was 6:15:58.
