Lately, my favorite things about Q’s are giving dumb names to warm up exercises and making everyone do what is great for me while dealing with some temporary pain. With a list of silly named warm-ups and a zero mosey (not even walking) beatdown, YHC woke up excited to get this beatdown going.

Warmup:

All IC:

  • 12 Squat twist
  • 12 BBS Shooters
  • 12 Marching Balls to the Sky
  • 12 Banking Airplanes
  • 12 Plank Tap Outs
  • 12 Frankensteins
  • 12, maybe more, rock clubs

The Thang:

Basic tabata style workout. 6 rounds of two exercises. Each exercise was done for 50 seconds with a 10 second rest/setup in between.

  1. Merkin shoulder taps/low plank
  2. Frog (not half, thanks Haka) burpees, right side plank
  3. Crab cakes, reverse plank – table top style
  4.  180 degree jump squats, left side plank
  5. Rowers, boat hold
  6. Burpees, beast plank
