On a cool (for August) Summer morning, YHC open the door to find just the slightest drizzle in the air. No problem for the men of F3 Nature Coast I thought and was excited to lead a larger group of men with school back in session.
20 minutes later with 4 other PAX in tow, a BD was started in even less drizzle.
Warmup:
All incadence:
- 20 SSH
- 10 Boat Rotations
- 10 Down-dog Merkins
- 10 Superman forgot his keys
- 10 forward/backward knee circles
The Thang
We started with a lap around the dog park where 8 cones were spread out. Each cone had an exercise where everyone did 5 reps. They were:
- 5 Shoulder Taps (HW)
- 5 Reverse Lunges (HW)
- 5 Leg Lifts
- 5 Burpees
- 5 Mountain Climbers (HW)
- 5 Squats
- 5 Dying Cockroaches (HW)
- 5 Merkins
Back at the court, the PAX got to see the board:
- 20 – Burpees
- 10 – Shoulder Taps, Reverse Lunges, Mountain Climbers, Dying Cockroaches
- 5 – Leg Lifts, Squats, Merkins
Each PAX would get an opportunity to remove one exercise, but the rep count would increase by that number for the rest. Waterboy up first removed the Merkin
Lap 2:

- 10 Burpees

Grouper up next removed the Reverse Lunge.

- 20 Dying Cockroaches (HW)
Apnea removed the Leg Lift.
Lap 4:
- 25 Shoulder Taps (HW)
- 25 Burpees
- 25 Mountain Climbers (HW)
- 25 Squats
- 25 Dying Cockroaches (HW)
I took out the Mtn. Climbers.
Lap 5:
- 35 Shoulder Taps (HW)
- 35 Burpees
- 35 Squats
- 35 Dying Cockroaches (HW)
Mercifully, Seltzer took out the Burpees.
Lap 6:
- 55 Shoulder Taps (HW)
- 55 Squats
- 55 Dying Cockroaches (HW)

Prayers for all PAX with legitimate reasons they cannot make it out, and prayers for all the other PAX who can’t handle the tiniest amount of rain.
