Seltzer contacted YHC on Sunday and inquired as to whether I planned to Q at the Boneyard as I had signed up. I admitted that I had intended to Q at the Ranch but it’s been awhile since I paid the Boneyard a visit so I kept the Q . That was Boner #1. 5:30 am hit, quick but confusing disclaimer, and time for the warmup of

THE THANG
Goal was to follow YHC’s planned route through Bexley.
Mosey west along Terrazo Way and then making a right and heading north on Ballantrae Blvd until we got to Slipstream where YHC explained today’s fun. We would be moseying around the neighborhood and stopping at certain locations where we would always do 3 burpees 6 Merkins and 9 squats (thanks to Chowdah for getting the Get Low song stuck in my head). We started with the exercises and once the 6 was in, we moseyed to our next location where we did the next set of 3 – 6 – 9 (damn you, fine). While waiting on the six at each spot, all PAX held plank.
Path was the following and also where we did each set
- West on Slipstream Dr.with a stop where the street turns right
- Continuing on Slipstream and stopping at Cruiser Bend
- Right onto Cruiser Bend with a stop at Ballantrae
- Left onto Ballantrae with a stop on Breakaway
- Left onto Breakaway with a stop on Tubular Run
- Left onto Tubular Run with a stop at Freestyle Way
This is where YHC made the second boner because the plan was to make a right onto gear lane but I saw Freestyle Way (freestyle connects to gear lane) so after doing another set here, continue along tubular run and made a right onto Cruiser Bend and stopped at corner of Slipstream for another set.
- Turned around and headed back along Cruiser Bend making a right onto Tubular Run with a stop at the end at Slipstream Continue on tubular Run with a stop at Slipstream Dr.
- Right onto Slipstream Dr. with a stop again at Cruiser Bend
- Headed west to corner of Bexley Village Drive for a set of Bruce Lees
- Southish along Bexley village Drive with a stop at Terrazo Way corner
- South along Bexley Village with a stop at Brighton Lake Road
- Left onto Brighton Lake Road with a stop at Revival Lane
- Left onto Revival Lane with a stop at Boyscout Lane for 5 broad jump burpees (Boner #3 was here where YHC managed to tweak his back on the first broad jump)
- Continue north on Revival Lane with a stop at Terrazo Way
- Right onto Terrazo Way and all the way to the end at the corner of Ballantrae Blvd
Here we did 5 Burpees, 10 Merkins, and 15 Squats for fun.
Mosey back to the start of the beatdown with 45 seconds left. YHC called for AMRAP burpees.
3 Boners in total and YHC who is a rancher most of the time was granted honorary boner status.
