Beautiful Saturday morning, 15 PAX gathered to celebrate YHC’s 17,521st day under the sun. YHC made sure to bring some pain and melt some of the cakes and beers from Airstream’s birthday celebration. Block alert  was there for the beatdown.

Exercise stations were setup around the field of the pain. Each exercises were marked with cones. Since it was dark to read the exercises marked on the cones, we carried our block and walked around to find the exercises.

Cone 1: 3 Blockees

Cone 2: 3 Burpees

Cone 3: 10 Thrusters

Cone 4: 3 Burpees

Cone 5: 10 Goblet Squats

Cone 6: 3 Burpees

Cone 7: 10 Block Swings

Cone 8: 3 Burpees.

After quick warm up exercises SSH, Frankenstein, Baby Arm Circle, we started the exercises with following addition.

Round 1: Rifle carry the block between the cones

Round 2: Bear crawl dragging the block between the cones

Round 2: Murder Bunny between the cones

Round 4: Freestyle (your choice) carry block between the cones

Repeat for those who completed faster.

After this we did a round of Bruce Lee utilizing the Block where possible. This is where we were attacked by the Mosquitos. Have not experienced this many mosquitos at the Field of Pain.

In the Round 5th and 6th we did the same exercises doing only 1 burpee instead of 3 and Murder Bunny between the cones.

Broken Blocks, sweat, blood was witnessed.

Belding pointed out mistake in YHCs math to know we are shortage by 30 Burpees to get daily 100 Burpees for this month.

With 4 minutes remaining, we did Circle Burpees to get those 30 Burpees in. Great push and encouragement.

Quote of the day, “Touch the ground with your chest”
