YHC took the Q on short notice but quickly found a good idea for a beatdown. Originally, teased as a BoP, DoD, or something else TBD, the beatdown ended up being number three.

Sasquatch started messing with YHC this morning by having the alarm go off late. YHC woke up at 5 am and sprinted out the door quietly to arrive four minutes late. Thanks to all the PAX for handling the warm-up in my absence.

WARMUP

YHC was informed of three warm up exercises performed but forgot what they were while writing this back blast.

The Thang

Sasquatch is almost here so why not do a little prep work.

1st workout from the 2020 Sasquatch

Distance to be run was set from the first light post by the concession stand to the midfield gate (hopefully about 100 yds). Starting at the concession stand area:

10 Merkins, 100 yd run

10 Squats, 100 yd run

10 LBCs, 100 yd run

10 burpees, 100 yd run

10 LBCs, 100 yd run

10 Squats, 100 yd run

10 Merkins, 100 yd run

10 Squats, 100 yd run

10 LBCs, 100 yd run

10 Burpees, 100 yd run

10 LBCs, 100 yd run

10 Squats, 100 yd run

10 Merkins, 100 yd run (ending back at the concession stand)

Quick sip of water, 10 count, and then mosey to the main road and to the circle field by the park.

2nd workout from the 202 Sasquatch

YHC marked off of an approximately 10 yd X 10 yd box (4 corners) by using four of the PAX. All PAX did the following sequence of exercises from their starting corner by going counter-clockwise:

Corner 1: 10 Burpees, bear crawl to corner 2

Corner 2: 9 Burpees, side bear crawl to corner 3

Corner 3: 8 Burpees, crawl bear to corner 4

Corner 4: 7 Burpees, side bear crawl to corner 1

Corner 1: 6 Burpees, bear crawl to corner 2

Corner 2: 5 Burpees, side bear crawl to corner 3

Corner 3: 4 Burpees, crawl bear to corner 4

Corner 4: 3 Burpees, side bear crawl to corner 1

Corner 1: 2 Burpees, bear crawl to corner 2

Corner 2: 1 Burpee

20 count wosey to the sidewalk.

Mosey back to the concession stand. Some mumble chatter about waiting for the invisible seventh PAX still hanging out on the grass before we started moseying again.

3rd workout of the 2020 Sasquatch

Quick sip at the concession stand and then back to work for the last 9 minutes. Only had enough time to start the first half of the 3rd workout which was the Red Barchetta (Song by Rush).

Starting at light post 0 (concession stand), all PAX ran to light post number 4, did 100 SSH, ran back to light post 0 and did another 100 SSH. YHC didn’t realize how far that fourth light post was as it seemed a lot closer when we started.

All PAX ran to light post number 3, did 75 Mountain Climbers (easy way), ran back to light post 0 and did another 75 mountain climbers.

Beatdown ran about 1 minute over.
