On a misty Monday morning, YHC was listing to a podcast about the making of Schindler’s List where they talked about how they could not film where they planned to film, so they had to plan on the fly and build replicas on the outside. YHC found this interesting and ironic how it would apply later on.

6 DRP PAX showed up, including our newest member Flippy, who moved from Dallas where we was an active member of F3, got right into it. We started with a mosey to the roundabout for the warmup.

Warmup:

All in cadence:

  • 10 Tempo Squats
  • 10 Windmills
  • 10 Tappity-tap-tap
  • 10 Dolly Partons

From there we mosey’d to the back of the school toward the track.

The Thang:

Upon arriving at the school, we had a problem. In the time we last went to use the track, a giant fence has been built to keep out guys who just like to workout early in the morning. In the gloom, no entrance could be found so we built it on the outside. The parking a lot was oval enough, so we got into it.

4 laps around the “track.” Walking lunges on the curvy part and sprints on the straightaways.

Once the six was in, we mosey’d back to the flag. One burpee was performed at every stoplight.

Once back, we did the following till about a minute was left:

  • 5 Irkins
  • 5 Dips
  • 5 Step-ups (HW)
  • 5 Box Jumps

Run to Anne (the nice realtor lady on the sign) and start with one burpee. This repeated with the burpee count going up by one each time.

With about a minute left, the PAX took a well deserved rest with a nice wall sit.

Moleskin:

2/26: 26.3 Ruck. It’s going to be awesome. Don’t regret not being there!

CoT:

Prayers for all PAX present and not that good things continue and troubles cease.
